This tall evergreen has a refreshingly sweet aroma with a subtle lemon note. Its oil is used for its cleansing effects on the skin and to promote a positive mood. dōTERRA sustainably sources Douglas Fir essential oil from younger trees in New Zealand, where overgrown fir populations can otherwise threaten native ecosystems. By producing essential oil from these younger trees, dōTERRA helps reduce the environmental impact of invasive tree growth in the region.

Primary Benefits

Applied topically, it helps create a positive atmosphere and supports an uplifted mood.

Douglas Fir essential oil distilled from New Zealand evergreens provides a cleansing effect when applied to the skin.

Uplifting refreshment with Douglas Fir essential oil

Combining citrus and woody notes, the aroma of Douglas Fir essential oil helps create an uplifting, positive atmosphere.
